Everything’s Upside Down

Baltas Teatras presents a comedy based on the legendary play by Marc Camoletti!

What the play is about:
One country house, one “perfect” plan for the weekend and a whole avalanche of chance encounters. When people who had better never meet end up in the same place, a true “geometry of lies” begins.

Here one small half-truth instantly snowballs into a grand farce. To keep their secrets, the characters have to change names, professions and even life stories on the fly. It is a game on the edge of exposure, where quick wits are the only way out.

Why it is worth seeing:

A worldwide hit: Marc Camoletti’s plays are in the Guinness Book of Records. This is French comedy at its best: light, fast-paced and precisely built.
Virtuoso improvisation: Watching the characters wriggle out of dead-end situations is a pleasure all of its own.
Unpredictability: The plot twists so sharply that guessing the characters’ next move is all but impossible.
